Fifies off Wick

"Fifies off Wick" - watercolour - 35 x 51 cm

Having finished a few smaller paintings of the fishing boats, I felt confident enough to tackle something larger. This was the commissioned painting that all the preparatory work had been leading up to.

    Your powerful composition here captures a most believable feeling of wind... spray and salt air! Another gem Keith!

    This is so good Keith. The movement in the water is amazing. Lack of time has kept me away so I've missed the others ... I'll look back at them. Impressive painting, as always.
